Atleast this time it was neglected for the sake of summer fun rather than school tests or house chores or something boring. We have had schedules jam-packed full of fun. In the past two weeks we have met up with new friends twice, met up with Caleb and Nina for dinner, gone bowling, cooked up crazy crazy meals, gone to the Kennedy school and much much more... We have been cleaning and organizing our new living room as time permits but its been a slow moving process. We will take pictures today and get those posted soon. As for now, i thought I'd post a little picture that made my heart happy yesterday. Yesterday, I stepped outside our front door to go on a walk and what did I see looking back at me? Hop-scotch. I know, that doesn't sound exciting, but does hopscotch with 135 squares that wraps around and around the apartment complex sound exciting? Heck yes it does! Little Flora (the 8 year old who lives across from us) had gone to town with the chalk that morning. There was not an inch of cement untouched that day which makes me so very very happy. Kids just breath life into everything don't they? I think so.... So, for now I will leave you with this (the other pictures I took of it didn't turn out) and will get back to you with living room pictures soon.
this picture is ^ just to show that they took down the tree in front of our complex because it was dead. Very very sad.
We are looking forward to our trip down south the end of september. Can't wait to see family!
