Date Night

On Friday Wes and I went on a date night. It was supposed to happen over spring break but due to me being sick that didn't end up happening. The rain-check resulted in our favor though, because Friday ended up being one of the most gorgeous days we've seen this year. The sun was out, the sky was clear, and the trees were pink with blossoms. We chose a Mediterranean restaurant that we like down town and driving the bridge to get there was a reminder of why we love Portland. There is just nothing like it. Looking out over the big river lined with pink blossomed trees, all other 11 bridges in clear view... gorgeous. A night filled with delicious food, wine, and gelato!
