Temperatures are dropping into the low 30s/ high 20s over these next couple of days, which means chance of snow!!!!! I'll never forget the first time it so unexpectedly snowed here two years ago. It was our first winter in Portland and we were still living in the icky basement apartment around the corner. Wes was in the bathroom getting ready for the day and I was making breakfast. Wes comes running out of the bathroom so urgently I thought something bad had happened. Instead he said "It's SNOWING!!!" We ran to the window and couldn't believe our eyes. I don't know if it'll snow like that this year, but it certainly would be fun. The city gets so quiet when it snows and people walk along in the middle of streets as if the city has shut down-- well, it sort of does shut down.
Who's getting excited for Thanksgiving this week??? ME! :)
